SINGAPORE POLYTECHNIC
We went to Singapore polytechnic on 29th July 2008.
There was a lecture given by Dr. Jiang Fan.
There were PowerPoint slides introducing the clean energy, Solar Energy. The most important thing in our life is electricity. Without electricity, we cannot do a lot of things e.g. no transportation, no hot water. We get our electricity from power station that burns the fossil fuels. Burning of fossil fuels pollutes the airs and is not renewable which means, we will run out of them. Therefore, we have to start using alternative source of energy like solar energy which is clean, renewable and easily obtainable. These were some of the things that I have learnt through the slides.
We had a chance to visit their solar farm.
It was my first time seeing rows after rows of life-sized solar panels.
It was an enriching experience.

singapore polytechnic.
Singapore Polytechnic- School of Electric and Electric Engineering(EEE). That was the place of our destination for the lecture by Dr. Jiang Fan for the uses of solar power and solar panels. The outing was on 29th July 2008. The objective of the outing was to educated us more about the uses of solar energy from solar panels. What a lecture it was from Dr. Jiang. Do you know that Singpore Polytechnic was the first school in Singapore to initiate the use of solar panels and solar energy. Enough talk, it's time for pictures.

Solar panels. The day was scroching hot! We need to keep ourselves hydrated! Sadly, it was time to go home. But we do learn alot of this there and it was the first time I saw a big solar panel. But all good times must come to an end.post by
